Meet the Baker
In a wild turn of events, Ry and I found our dream home — and just as fast, we realized it would stretch our budget more than we expected. I wanted to stay home with our kids, but I also needed to help support our family.
That’s when Hill Side Sourdough was born.
What started out of necessity has turned into a true passion project, and I absolutely love baking for our community and sharing something warm and meaningful with the people in my life.
Now, with experience and confidence in my craft, I’ve realized I want to do more than just sell bread—I want to help others find joy and confidence in their own kitchens as well.
Experience:
I started baking sourdough over two years ago, and ever since then almost all the bread our family eats has come from our own kitchen.
Ryan is the pro at tracking down new recipes for me to try, and Charlotte is my little sidekick who loves helping knead, mix, and taste-test.
Baking has become a fun family tradition — and now we’re excited to share it with you.
How we got started:
What started with family asking to buy my bread has grown into something pretty special. After partnering with Elevate Gym in Orem to bake for their InsulinIQ clients, things took off fast.
We’ve since moved, added home pickup and online ordering, and we’ve got even more exciting plans coming at the start of the new year!
